What is the definition of a successful career and how does one ensure this is the key question ? Can we all arrive at a common definition at all ? Probably not.
Success ….it is subject to interpretation.

So in summary success can be achieved by preparation and perseverance not good luck remember. Is there a place where "Success comes before work only in the dictionary…
This is a great opportunity to prepare, that is the essence of what you will be doing for the next 12 weeks or so, Prepare ! Prepare ! Prepare !
Prepare for working hard, prepare for your professional career in technology, prepare for the day when surely someone will come to you and ask that question “ Can you do this for me ? What will your answer be, will it be Yes I can !
Prepare for life, you have some habits many good I hope, here is an opportunity to hone them to make them even better and perhaps drop some bad ones. This is not about Infogain, this is about how to take young impressionable minds and mould them to achieve success. I think we can do this together but remember in the session there will be one instructor and 45 or 50 of you, similarly this is mostly about you, 90% of what happens in the session and whether you move forward is depended on you only 5-10% on the instructor.
It is unlikely that you will ever again have the chance to participate in such a set of trainings and sessions, I hope you will make the most of them, to get the fullest out of them, remember one day soon someone will ask “ Can you do this for me “ ?
Very valuable advice. This is something which everyone of us needs to inculcate in our lives and have to do so in order to move ahead.

ReplyDeleteAfter entering in corporate horizon everyone is associated with lots of dependencies and responsibilities. Our steps should be such that it could lead us to the success. Our effort should be in proper direction and should be combined with self confidence.We have lots of challenges in our way. To deal with these challenges we must consider that whatever I am doing is the best and unique for sake of this world.
I will like to tell my self experience:

Well, these are the words which will influence all of us, no matter how many times you listen to these or read these. When I was going through the post I was feeling same buzz in my body, as I was having while listening these from Mr. Eddie Chandhok on 5th-July-2010 when he was addressing all new comers of BootCamp. We should all try to fit in the first category because the long term success will come only if we be in first category.
Inspiring enough to motivate me to give my 200%. But i would like to add that "try not to become a man of success but rather to become a man of value" as said by Albert Einstein. As it is the values that will help a person to get success with it. They both go hand in hand as one follows the other.

ReplyDeleteAlthough this analogy is a bit humorous.But I think this quote states that 80% work is done by 20% of the people. And yes I would love to be in those 20% and I await the day somebody will ask me "Can you do this for me ?"
